Az AQ2 egy kiváló minőségű, studio méretű dobkészlet, amellyel profiként szólalhat meg. Minden dobtest 7 réteg juharfából készült (4 réteg kanadai juhar + 3 réteg kínai juhar), hangzásuk pedig a legigényesebb dobosokat is kielégíti. A dobok gazdag, kiválóan kiegyensúlyozott hangon szólalnak meg, megfelelő mennyiségű mély tónussal és a tartományok közötti kiváló egyensúllyal.
A tamok teste az új, minimalista, a német mérnöki munka szellemében készült Smart Mount felfüggesztéssel van ellátva, amely korlátozza a fa és a fém elemek érintkezését, még jobb rezonanciát biztosítva.
A dobok elegáns, krómozott hardverrel rendelkeznek.
