Emellett az új SONIClear Bearing Edge rendszert alkalmazták, amely növeli a bőr és a dobtest közötti érintkezést, lehetővé téve a bőr sík felfekvését a dob élén, ami fokozza a dobtest vibrációjának átvitelét. Ennek köszönhetően a hangszer könnyebben hangolható, hangzása pedig erőteljes és fókuszált.
