Amikor Mike a Gretsch Drumshoz fordult egy új pergődob-koncepció kidolgozásával, ez egy csillagokban megírt találkozás volt. Ez a pergődob a klasszikus, 6 rétegű Brooklyn juhar-nyárfa testet több nagy teljesítményű kiegészítéssel ötvözi.
A tartós, gravírozott Gretsch 302 kávák, 3,0 mm-es dupla peremmel, dupla 45° bearing edge kialakítással párosulnak. Oldschool belső tompító. Az egészet a Silver Sealer belső felület és Mike Johnston aláírása teszi teljessé.
